About Thomas Hsieh

Thomas moved from his birthplace in Taiwan to New Zealand at the age of 17. His illustrations reflect his personality and the different cultures in which he has lived.
Thomas has worked on many successful projects in advertising, animation and games and he looks forward to meeting new challenges.
‘To me illustration can represent personality,’ Thomas says, ‘and as I mature so do my illustrations. I am doing the work I love, and consider myself very lucky to have a lot of support from family and friends. I feel very blessed.’  
Newly married, Thomas and his wife live in Auckland. Thomas has illustrated the soon-to-be published Jake and Zoe Visit the Dentist.
